New Baby Brother {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

This was my third session with this family. They originally hired me two years ago when their first child was born. They wanted to gift the new grandparents photo sessions with the baby. They did this again this time as their new son surprised them a few weeks early. He was just as great of a photo subject as his big sister and it was great to capture 3 generations of family together.

Family Love {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

I could already tell how much love this little guy already had. He had nursery decorations made by his cousins, a cute quote "I Love you More than Applesauce" which was something his mom always heard when she was a baby, and he had another grandma visiting. This not so tiny bundle of joy was soaking it all in.

All in the Family {Washington DC Family Photography}

I photographed half this crew lsat year when they contacted me to photograph their then baby. This year she wanted to incorporate her brother and sister in law as well as their sweet 3 year old. While one little guy wasn't feeling great that day we still powered through and got some great shots of both boys. This is such a great idea to capture the whole family.

First Born Son {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

I loved meeting sweet baby Q and his parents. He was awake and alert the entire time but never made a peep. He wanted to show off his sweet baby blues! His mom had an adorable personalized swaddle and a beautiful nursery which only enhanced our session!

A Warm Fall Day {Washington DC Family Photography}

This was one of my favorite families to photograph last fall. These boys are SO fun and full of antics and giggles. They both have awesome smiles and are up for anything. On this particular fall day it was extremely warm and not quite as crisp and fall like but I'm so glad we got to capture them again and see how they've grown.

Welcome Little Guy! {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

This mom contacted me after finding my information online. After I gave her my mailing address we realized we actually live 2 doors apart! I was very excited to meet this little guy and my new neighbor. He is sweet and curious and aced his first photo session. I look forward to watching him grow!

A New Family {Washington DC Family Photography}

I'm so glad this family contacted me to capture their new son. They had a beautiful home with a very bright guest room that made the perfect backdrop to the photo session. This little guy was so happy to look right at the camera and will make a wonderful future model! One of my favorite shots from the session was one of our last shots when the cat was checking her new brother out. I look forward to watching this sweet family grow.

Big Kids in the Garden {Washington DC Family Photography}

As I'm sure you've seen around here its usually tiny babies and toddlers. I rarely see teenagers so this was a lovely change of pace. They can stand still, take direction, and I didn't need to sing the Itsy Bitsy Spider. And this little girl had just lost her first tooth so it was fun to capture her new little smile. Thanks for a fun afternoon.

New Baby New Home {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

I already knew baby Z's parents but it was exciting to see this new family of three in their new home in DC. They had barely unpacked before she arrived but were happily settling into their new routine at only one week. She slept during the entire session and even when we tried to wake her to get one photo of her eyes, it could barely be done. I hope she always sleeps so soundly for them!

A New Baby Girl {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

I loved photographing sweet baby J in her Northern Virginia home. Her parents have designed a beautiful nursery and have a beautiful home but when she was fussy we decided to go outside and capture her  outdoors as well. Thanks for a wonderful morning!
