New Little Lady {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

Sometimes parents email beforehand and ask if the baby should be asleep or awake while we do our newborn photos. This makes me laugh because they soon realize that when it comes to a 2 week old, you can’t control it! This little lady was sound asleep our entire session! I didn’t mind because I got to chat with her wonderful parents in their beautiful sunny apartment. Thanks for behaving so well little A!

Double the Love {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

This session was definitely different than most of my newborn sessions as this was twin newborn boys! These parents had set up a beautiful nursery in Washington DC and I loved including their adorable pup in the photos as well. Halfway through our time together we were able to get both boys asleep and I love the photos of them in their dads arms. Can’t wait to see these two (four!) again!

Two Weeks New {Bethesda Newborn Photography}

I loved meeting this little guy. His mom was not originally planning on doing newborn photos but once she met this sweet little guy how could she not? He was so great for our session he almost never woke up. After an hour together his mom and dad tried to get him to wake up-changed his diaper, took him outside, etc. He’s such a great sleeper he wanted to show off his skills! Hope he continues to be so sweet and easy!

Baby Makes Five {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

This new little baby is already so loved. Not only does he have two wonderful and kind parents but he has two very enthusiastic siblings. Newborn sessions are so different when there are older siblings. They are not quite as calm and serene but they also add a lot of humor and fun. And these two were no different. Thanks for a wonderful morning!

A New Baby Boy {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

I loved meeting one of DC's newest little baby boys. He was alert for his whole photo session and often looked right at the camera, a perfect little model. Not only did these wonderful parents have an adorable baby boy but they had the sweetest pup who did not want to be left out. I loved seeing their new nursery and how much they loved each other and their new son. What a beautiful new family I was so happy to capture.

New Little Brother {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

I loved meeting this new family of four. As a DC Newborn Photographer, I see a lot of nurseries but this one on a beautiful street in Cleveland Park was truly stunning. Big sister warmed up quite quickly and loved starring in the photo session with her baby brother. She had all sorts of talents to show off and baby brother was happy to sleep in his parents arms amid the chaos. I loved meeting this sweet family, including big furry pup and hope their life is always filled with as much excitement and zeal.

Hello Little Lady {Washington DC Newborn Session}

This was definitely a favorite newborn session, taking place in their beautiful home in Brookland. This little girl was wide awake almost the whole time looking around, staring at the camera, taking everything in. Her parents were fun and easy going, even when they got spit up on. They had a beautiful nursery in a beautiful home and they are already settling in as one of DC's newest families of three!

A New Little Sister {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

If you've been around here for a while, you've definitely seen this family. Not only are they one of my favorite families to photograph, they are also dear friends. I was very excited to meet the newest member of their family-this beautiful little babe. It was a fun challenge to get an energetic two year old and a sleep newborn in the same pictures and I think the turned out great.

Two Weeks Old {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

Meet sweet baby L. She entered into an awesome family. She has two loving parents and her big brother who is a great entertainer. He was so enthusiastic for our photos and was so proud to show off his new little sister. Thanks M Family!

A New Baby Brother {Washington DC Family Photography}

This beautiful family on Capitol Hill is one of my favorites. I met them 2 years ago when I did their newborn session with their little girl and I loved photographing them ever since. While its always a little challenging to get a toddler and 3 month old to both be photo ready at the same time, these super parents made it look easy. I loved photographing them and look forward to seeing both little ones grow.
