What does a newborn session look like?

I take newborn photos in clients' homes located in Montgomery County, Maryland/Washington DC area. Having these in your home (and not in a studio you have to drive to!) makes it easy for you and your newborn-no need to get out the door!

My style is fun, casual, and relaxed. I try and capture you and your family interacting with each other in an organic way and along with some more directed/posed shots thrown in there as well. The session usually lasts around an hour and I can be flexible with timing (and feeding breaks!). Definitely check out my portfolio to make sure my style matches with what you are envisioning for your newborn session as I am definitely not a "baby in a basket" photographer!

After the session, I go home and individually edit each image. I provide these fully edited high-res images within two weeks of the session. These will be delivered to you through an online gallery and from there you'll be able to download all of the high-res edited images as many times as you'd like and share with all your family and friends! You will also be able to order professionally printed prints through my website. There is zero pressure to purchase anything post session. I'm happy to answer any questions about that.
