Two Weeks Old {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

This photo session was a wonderful way to end 2018. This little lady barely made a peep during her entire photo session. I loved her beautiful and bright nursery in her Brookland home. Even her Grandma and pup got to be some photos. This is one loved little lady and I’m so glad I got to capture her first few days.

New Baby Girl {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

This little lady was one sleepy girl for her first photo session. Within 15 minutes of arriving she was fast asleep and never woke up the whole time I was there. We even tried to get her to open up her eyes in the last few minutes but she was too comfortable snoozing away in her parents arms. What an easy and fun session!

Northern Virginia's Newest Baby Boy {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

This little guy (and his sweet parents) did so well for his first photo session. He had a particularly fun and energetic furry brother who was so sweet and curious and I loved photographing him as well. This sweet family was so warm and already so comfortable and in love with their little guy. I know they’re in for a lot of fun.

Little Guy Big World {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

I see a lot of nurseries but this one was one of my favorites. His parents have obviously traveled the world and incorporated that into this awesome space. This little guy was so good for our session-alert and awake and just enjoying being in his parents arms. They even had some fun costumes we put him in at the end-some he liked more than others! What a sweet little guy.

An Early Arrival {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

This little guy was so eager to meet his parents he arrived a month early. Even with an early arrival, his parents were so calm and comfortable. I loved how many smiles he gave me. I consider myself lucky to get one newborn smile and this guy was non-stop! What a fun newborn session.

Two Moms and a Baby {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

I loved meeting this sweet DC Family. While this little guy was older than most of my newborn clients he was still sweet and sleepy while we were together. But the fun of a three month old is that he was also generous with his smiles. I loved seeing the bond between him and his moms.

New Little Lady {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

Sometimes parents email beforehand and ask if the baby should be asleep or awake while we do our newborn photos. This makes me laugh because they soon realize that when it comes to a 2 week old, you can’t control it! This little lady was sound asleep our entire session! I didn’t mind because I got to chat with her wonderful parents in their beautiful sunny apartment. Thanks for behaving so well little A!

Double the Love {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

This session was definitely different than most of my newborn sessions as this was twin newborn boys! These parents had set up a beautiful nursery in Washington DC and I loved including their adorable pup in the photos as well. Halfway through our time together we were able to get both boys asleep and I love the photos of them in their dads arms. Can’t wait to see these two (four!) again!

Two Weeks New {Bethesda Newborn Photography}

I loved meeting this little guy. His mom was not originally planning on doing newborn photos but once she met this sweet little guy how could she not? He was so great for our session he almost never woke up. After an hour together his mom and dad tried to get him to wake up-changed his diaper, took him outside, etc. He’s such a great sleeper he wanted to show off his skills! Hope he continues to be so sweet and easy!

Baby Makes Five {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

This new little baby is already so loved. Not only does he have two wonderful and kind parents but he has two very enthusiastic siblings. Newborn sessions are so different when there are older siblings. They are not quite as calm and serene but they also add a lot of humor and fun. And these two were no different. Thanks for a wonderful morning!
