I had the pleasure of working with one of my favorite repeat families for a fall photo session at Bishop’s Garden in Washington, DC. Their two young boys, full of energy and smiles, brought the garden to life as they ran through the vibrant autumn leaves and explored the beautiful scenery. It’s always such a joy to see familiar faces return, and this session was no exception, with each shot capturing the love and connection that grows year after year. The stunning fall backdrop at Bishop’s Garden perfectly complemented the family’s warmth, making for another unforgettable set of memories.

A New Baby Sister Outdoor Newborn Session {Washington DC Newborn and Family Photographer}

Three years ago in the peak of Covid these parents contacted me about doing a newborn session outdoors. While it was cold and windy, we made it work so we could capture this special time. Well, they now have welcomed a second baby girl and wanted to do an outdoor newborn session again.

I have been photographing this family since big sister was a newborn! She is always so fun to capture with a big personality and her little brother is definitely following in her footsteps. Despite the cold temperatures on this October morning (and even some sickness!) this family looked beautiful and pushed through the cold to get these beautiful pictures. I’m so glad to still be photographing them four years later.

This was a dream fall mini-session. I’ve photographed this sweet family before so I’ve had the chance to get to know them and these two kids are fun and funny. We had a beautiful fall morning as the backdrop to capture these sweet toddlers.

I first met this family three years ago when doing newborn photos for their firstborn in their DC home. We did outdoor newborn photos for their second during COVID and I was so glad we could capture this fall family photo for them now that both boys are a year older.

Could you imagine a happier one year old? And these were all before we watched her dig in to her first piece of cake ever! She was full of smiles despite the warm DC temperatures this August morning. I am so glad that her parents were able to capture this sweet stage.

I could not have asked for a sweeter family. These two kids warmed up almost immediately and were full of fun stories to share. We lucked out with a beautiful morning on Capitol Hill and moved over to Lincoln Park to capture more of the neighborhood where they spend their days. Thanks D family for a beautiful morning!

I’ve been photographing this fun DC family since they were new parents (and newly born!). I’ve loved watching both boys grow and now they are both running at full speed and are full of personality. This was one of the first nice spring days which made a beautiful morning for their updated spring family photos!

This family is one of my favorites. I have been photographing them since she was a newborn. This little lady has a lot of two year old spunk which makes it fun and funny to photographer her. I’m sure her little brother will be just like soon enough!

This is my third session with this fun family and they get better each year. They are always dressed perfectly and are always full of personality and fun and funny stories to share. This year they even brought Grandma along to be in a few photos. I can’t wait until our next photo session together.
