I had the pleasure of working with one of my favorite repeat families for a fall photo session at Bishop’s Garden in Washington, DC. Their two young boys, full of energy and smiles, brought the garden to life as they ran through the vibrant autumn leaves and explored the beautiful scenery. It’s always such a joy to see familiar faces return, and this session was no exception, with each shot capturing the love and connection that grows year after year. The stunning fall backdrop at Bishop’s Garden perfectly complemented the family’s warmth, making for another unforgettable set of memories.

This little dude will forever have a special place in my heart. I did his newborn session on Capitol Hill just days before I gave birth to my own daughter—so basically, we were both going through it. I’ve loved seeing him morph into a happy and busy toddler. This time, we lucked out with a picture-perfect Washington, DC fall day—crunchy leaves, golden light, and one very photogenic goofball. 🍁📸.

I met this family for the first time before their daughter was even born. All three kids are hilarious and I love photographing them every year at Bishop’s Garden in Washington DC. They keep me on my toes and we’re always laughing by the end.

I love seeing this crew every year—they’re basically photo session VIPs at this point. I’ve been photographing them since big brother was a tiny newborn, back in their classic DC row house days. Now we’ve all upgraded to Chevy Chase, and I’m so happy we’re still making photo magic together.

These boys? 100% wiggles, 1000% giggles. Every session is part workout, part comedy show, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. So glad we get to freeze all the fun (and the chaos) year after year!

I met this family almost a year ago when I went to their Washington DC apartment to do their newborn photos for their new baby boy. Well now he is already sitting up and a big bonus: it happened to be big brother’s third birthday. What a fun way to make the special day!

This was the perfect time to photograph this little girl. People often ask when the best time to photograph your baby is? The easy answer: there is no bad time! She smiled and cooed and was loved on by her parents and grandparents. It was a beautiful Chevy Chase morning to capture this loving family.

This is the second time I’ve photographed this family. I first met them when this big toddler was a little 8 month old and he is now a big brother! It was so fun meeting their first new baby girl and seeing how much she is already loved.
