Washington DC Baby Photography
I could not ask for a better morning or better clients. The weather was bright-not too muggy or buggy as is often the case in DC. This gorgeous family had graced my camera before so we were all comfortable with each other. This was one of those sessions where I walk away knowing that I will be happy with the results (and hopefully the clients are too!).
In the heart of Chevy Chase, this family invited me into their home to meet their newest (and tiniest) roommate: two-week-old baby girl, already running the show. Despite the snow outside, it was nice and warm in their beautiful home and she performed perfectly. It was a session filled with cuddles, fun, and the undeniable charm of a newborn who clearly knew she was the star.
On a perfect crisp fall morning, this little curly haired babe brought pure joy to his family photo session. The golden leaves at Rock Creek Park were the perfect backdrop for this family’s first photo session. Between leaf tosses and tight family hugs, their love and laughter shone through in every frame. It was a beautiful reminder that the best photos often come from the smallest, unscripted moments.
I had the pleasure of working with one of my favorite repeat families for a fall photo session at Bishop’s Garden in Washington, DC. Their two young boys, full of energy and smiles, brought the garden to life as they ran through the vibrant autumn leaves and explored the beautiful scenery. It’s always such a joy to see familiar faces return, and this session was no exception, with each shot capturing the love and connection that grows year after year. The stunning fall backdrop at Bishop’s Garden perfectly complemented the family’s warmth, making for another unforgettable set of memories.
Ever since I moved to Silver Spring, Maryland, I have mostly stopped doing photos in Virginia. But once in a while a trip to Virginia is worth it for a very special session. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable 4-month-old baby boy and his family’s playful Goldendoodle in Virginia. Can you believe his big smile? The combination of the baby’s sweet expressions, the parents loving looks, and the vibrant fall foliage created the perfect setting for a memorable photo shoot.
This little dude will forever have a special place in my heart. I did his newborn session on Capitol Hill just days before I gave birth to my own daughter—so basically, we were both going through it. I’ve loved seeing him morph into a happy and busy toddler. This time, we lucked out with a picture-perfect Washington, DC fall day—crunchy leaves, golden light, and one very photogenic goofball. 🍁📸.
I met this family for the first time before their daughter was even born. All three kids are hilarious and I love photographing them every year at Bishop’s Garden in Washington DC. They keep me on my toes and we’re always laughing by the end.
I met this family almost a year ago when I went to their Washington DC apartment to do their newborn photos for their new baby boy. Well now he is already sitting up and a big bonus: it happened to be big brother’s third birthday. What a fun way to make the special day!
