Washington DC Family Photography
I could not ask for a better morning or better clients. The weather was bright-not too muggy or buggy as is often the case in DC. This gorgeous family had graced my camera before so we were all comfortable with each other. This was one of those sessions where I walk away knowing that I will be happy with the results (and hopefully the clients are too!).
It was so nice to see one of my favorite families in DC for a fun morning in the garden! The best part of spring sessions is there is not quite as much sweating as DC summertime… and of course there was some laughing, some tickling, and even some poop jokes. And lots of smiles from these two fun kids and their parents!
I had the pleasure of working with one of my favorite repeat families for a fall photo session at Bishop’s Garden in Washington, DC. Their two young boys, full of energy and smiles, brought the garden to life as they ran through the vibrant autumn leaves and explored the beautiful scenery. It’s always such a joy to see familiar faces return, and this session was no exception, with each shot capturing the love and connection that grows year after year. The stunning fall backdrop at Bishop’s Garden perfectly complemented the family’s warmth, making for another unforgettable set of memories.
I met this family almost a year ago when I went to their Washington DC apartment to do their newborn photos for their new baby boy. Well now he is already sitting up and a big bonus: it happened to be big brother’s third birthday. What a fun way to make the special day!
This newborn session in Chevy Chase, DC was so wonderful. This big brother eagerly welcomed me to his house with lots of stories and questions. I love a fun toddler to add some fun while new babies tend to sleep through much of our time together. They have a beautiful home that was the perfect spot to photograph these early newborn days.
This family got in touch once their baby girl had arrived and I’m so glad they did. Despite snow and schedules, we found a beautiful bright day to capture their new dynamic as a family of four in their beautiful Bethesda home. Big brother warmed up quickly and made for such a fun photo session.
This is the second time I’ve photographed this family. I first met them when this big toddler was a little 8 month old and he is now a big brother! It was so fun meeting their first new baby girl and seeing how much she is already loved.
I believe this is the third year in a row I’ve photographed this family and this little guy just keeps getting cuter. He has such a fun and funny personality and I love capturing it. His parents are so easy and loving and of course a cute dog makes every photo better!
I loved getting to capture this two week old little guy with his parents (and pups!). He did so great for his first photo session and even let me get a look at his beautiful eyes. We were able to capture some photos with the family dogs-the first “babies” too.
Could these boys be any cuter? Not only did they have great smiles and were full of fun things to say but they were also such willing photo subjects! This was one of my very last fall sessions and I was happy to end on such a high note.
