DC Spring Photography

Morning on Capitol Hill {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I could not have asked for a sweeter family. These two kids warmed up almost immediately and were full of fun stories to share. We lucked out with a beautiful morning on Capitol Hill and moved over to Lincoln Park to capture more of the neighborhood where they spend their days. Thanks D family for a beautiful morning!

Fun in the Park {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I had so much fun with this little guy. While it took him a minute to warm up, he was sweet and smiley. His mom and dad were excited to take photos with him and take some photos for a big announcement. Thanks for a fun morning in Alexandria.

One Year Old Girl {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I met this little lady a year and half ago at her newborn session and wow had she changed. For starters, she had some gorgeous blonde hair and a fun personality. Once she warmed up she was happy to explore the garden and play with Mom and Dad. I’m so glad I got to see her grow!

Brotherly Love {Washington DC Family Photographer}

This family made my job so easy. They are beautiful and well behaved and I loved our time together on this spring Washington DC morning! It took the little guy a little while to warm up (which seems to be a theme with these pandemic babies!) but once he got moving, he was all smiles!

A Warm Fall Day {Washington DC Family Photographer}

When this sweet family contacted me about fall photos we did not think Washington DC would have an 80 degree day. I had seen this family 4 years prior at their DC home for their oldest’s newborn photos and they are still just as lovely as they were back then. I loved meeting their new baby and capturing this sweet family. Looking forward to seeing them again!

Fall Family Session in the Garden {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I started photographing this little boy when he was his sister’s age and I have loved photographing him over the years in DC. This family is always easy and fun and I love seeing them every year and watching everyone grow. I’m so glad we could make this work despite the craziness of 2020.

Brothers in the Fall {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I loved seeing this family for a second year. This time they brought their new puppy. As someone who is experienced with toddlers, puppies require some of the same patience (but not the silly faces!). Like their human brothers, these dogs did great and it is such a nice treat to photograph big kids.

Three Years Old {Washington DC Family Photographer}

This was my third session with this little lady and wow has she changed. We barely got any smiles the first one and the second one her awesome moms actually brought along a friends dog to get some smiles. Well we didn’t need to rely on dogs this time-she is such.a fun big girl! We were all so happy with how easy this year’s photos were.

Big Brother to Be {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I’ve been photographing this little guy since he was 5 months old. he was just as smiley then as he is now. His parents are always such good sports and always bring along a fun family member to help. And this pup is full of energy and a true star for the camera. I can’t wait to meet their next little one this spring!

Family of Four {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I had not seen this family since this little girl’s newborn session. I loved seeing how much both kids had grown. A beautiful September morning in Bishop’s Garden.
