Toddler Fun {Washington DC Family Photographer}

One of the best things about being a family photographer is capturing toddlers in their authentic joy. This little guy was a little unsure at first but his dad remembered he loves seeing pictures of his dog on the phone. That little trick helped him warm up.

Fun in the Rock Creek Park {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I had met this little guy when he was a mere newborn and it was so fun to see him and his parents now that he’s grown. He was all smiles and made taking his picture so fun!

New Baby Girl {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

Like many newborn sessions during 2020, this one was quite delayed but I’m so glad we were able to capture this still small little lady in her early months. Her parents have a beautiful well-lit apartment that was the perfect backdrop to capture this new family of three.

Family of Five {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

I met this family in the fall for family photos and was so excited to meet their newest member-a little girl! She is the perfect addition to the family. She was calm and alert and was able to withstand the pokes and hugs of her big brothers. I love seeing this family grow.

Four is Fun {Washington DC Family Photographer}

This family had the great idea to do a session in Blaine Alley-one of DC’s most colorful settings! They were dressed perfectly for this setting and all four kids were so easy and fun. I am so glad I was able to have this fun morning with this fun crew.

Fun Little Lady {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I have been photographing this little lady since she was a newborn. She was an easy newborn to photograph as she slept the entire time and now as a full blown toddler she wasn’t quite as sleep during her photos. She was full of smiles and energy which makes toddlers so fun to photograph. I loved seeing here and her fun parents again.

One Fun Girl {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I had photographed this little lady when she was only a few months old so it was so fun to see her again this year. She is bright and funny and fast!

Morning in Rock Creek Park {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I loved seeing this family again. Last time I photographed them, this big three year old was only a few months and now I got to meet his adorable little sister. Even though she is only a few months old, she was already a great little photo subject cooing and smiling at her dad. Her big brother continues to shine.

Late Newborn Session {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

Well beginning in March, to cancel all sessions. While everyone was understanding, I felt especially bad for all the newborn parents who missed out in getting photographs of those first days. I was happy we were able to do “newborn” photos for this family even when she was no longer a newborn. It was nice to catch her as a 3 month old when she could smile a bit and interact more. This was a great reintroduction into newborn sessions.

First Birthday Boy {Washington DC Family Photography}

This little guy was turning one and his mom wanted to capture some photos. While I normally only do newborn sessions indoors, this was so great in their beautiful well-lit living room in Arlington. This guy was all smiles and had his 4 grandparents ready to celebrate him as well. Happy 1st Birthday!
