I could not ask for a better morning or better clients. The weather was bright-not too muggy or buggy as is often the case in DC. This gorgeous family had graced my camera before so we were all comfortable with each other. This was one of those sessions where I walk away knowing that I will be happy with the results (and hopefully the clients are too!).
It was so nice to see one of my favorite families in DC for a fun morning in the garden! The best part of spring sessions is there is not quite as much sweating as DC summertime… and of course there was some laughing, some tickling, and even some poop jokes. And lots of smiles from these two fun kids and their parents!
On a perfect crisp fall morning, this little curly haired babe brought pure joy to his family photo session. The golden leaves at Rock Creek Park were the perfect backdrop for this family’s first photo session. Between leaf tosses and tight family hugs, their love and laughter shone through in every frame. It was a beautiful reminder that the best photos often come from the smallest, unscripted moments.
I had the pleasure of working with one of my favorite repeat families for a fall photo session at Bishop’s Garden in Washington, DC. Their two young boys, full of energy and smiles, brought the garden to life as they ran through the vibrant autumn leaves and explored the beautiful scenery. It’s always such a joy to see familiar faces return, and this session was no exception, with each shot capturing the love and connection that grows year after year. The stunning fall backdrop at Bishop’s Garden perfectly complemented the family’s warmth, making for another unforgettable set of memories.
I met this family for the first time before their daughter was even born. All three kids are hilarious and I love photographing them every year at Bishop’s Garden in Washington DC. They keep me on my toes and we’re always laughing by the end.
I met this family almost a year ago when I went to their Washington DC apartment to do their newborn photos for their new baby boy. Well now he is already sitting up and a big bonus: it happened to be big brother’s third birthday. What a fun way to make the special day!
This was the perfect time to photograph this little girl. People often ask when the best time to photograph your baby is? The easy answer: there is no bad time! She smiled and cooed and was loved on by her parents and grandparents. It was a beautiful Chevy Chase morning to capture this loving family.
Three years ago in the peak of Covid these parents contacted me about doing a newborn session outdoors. While it was cold and windy, we made it work so we could capture this special time. Well, they now have welcomed a second baby girl and wanted to do an outdoor newborn session again.
