I was very relieved to see clear skies for the morning of our photo shoot. Despite weather predictions, the skies had opened up during our original photo session and we all got soaked and had to call it a day. They were very understanding and we decided to try again on this beautiful fall morning. Thanks for your patience!
Frequently I will get questions from family members, spouses, friends, and parents asking about gifting a photo session. This is such a thoughtful gift and since they will have these photos forever it is really a gift that keeps on gifting. This sweet DC dad purchased this session as a gift for his wife for her birthday. Little 10 month old E was full of smiles and wonder-a perfect age to photograph! Thanks for the sweet gift.
If you’ve been around for a while, you’d know these guys. This is one of my favorite families to photograph every year because they are always fun and funny. And of course I get a good workout chasing these two little guys around. But the fun and funny kids make my job as a photographer so fulfilling! Can’t wait to see them next year!
This is one of my favorite DC Families. I met them when this guy was still inside and we did maternity photos, then newborn photos, and now that he is one year old we are capturing them at this fun and exciting time in their lives! He is just on the edge of walking so all he wanted to do was…walk. I am excited to meet his little sister this winter!
While I was very excited to meet this little guy, apparently he was happy to sleep through our whole session together. These new DC parents were very relaxed. Perhaps that has rubbed off on their little guy since we could not get him to open his beautiful little eyes until the last 2 minutes I was there! I loved seeing this new family of three plus their gorgeous pup!
I met this little lady a year and half ago at her newborn session and wow had she changed. For starters, she had some gorgeous blonde hair and a fun personality. Once she warmed up she was happy to explore the garden and play with Mom and Dad. I’m so glad I got to see her grow!
I was so excited to see this family again. I met them when this big sister was just a newborn and she is now a fun and special toddler. There are so many DC families that I have gotten to watch grow over the years-from newborn to big kid. She is always lots of fun and I know her brother will catch up to her soon enough. This family was recommended to me by a mutual friend and I’m so glad they were. Both daughters were adorable and full of personality-those are the best kind of photo subjects! Like so many other Washington DC families, they were not able to do newborn photos so I’m so glad we could capture them at this time.
These new parents get the reward for “pulling it together the fastest”. Their sweet baby girl was only 5 days old when I came to photograph her. She was calm and alert the whole time-I barely heard a peep. They had a beautiful well-lit nursery which was a beautiful backdrop for our photos. What a wonderful morning.
I loved meeting this sweet family on a beautiful summer morning at a local DC park. They had one smiley one year old and a beautiful pup as well. I can’t wait to meet their next little one this fall.
