What more could a newborn photographer hope for than a beautiful baby boy in a bright and warm nursery? This little guy and his fan club were so fun to photograph and chat with.

Well this little lady had changed quite a bit since her newborn session six months prior which she had mostly slept through. Now she is full of personality and smiles. People often ask what’s the best age to capture and I always feel six to eight months is key and she showed us why!
I have been photographing this family since big sister was a newborn! She is always so fun to capture with a big personality and her little brother is definitely following in her footsteps. Despite the cold temperatures on this October morning (and even some sickness!) this family looked beautiful and pushed through the cold to get these beautiful pictures. I’m so glad to still be photographing them four years later.
This newborn was a pleasure to photograph. I often am excited when I am able to capture a newborn smile but this guy was full of them and they even seemed intentional. I am so glad I was able to photograph at him at this sweet stage. His parents had a beautiful nursery and a lot of patience-both so helpful in getting beautiful newborn photographs!
This was a dream fall mini-session. I’ve photographed this sweet family before so I’ve had the chance to get to know them and these two kids are fun and funny. We had a beautiful fall morning as the backdrop to capture these sweet toddlers.
This newborn session was a gift from this sweet baby’s lovely aunt. His aunt contacted me and arranged all the details for her sister to have this wonderful newborn session. I’m so glad she arranged it because it was a dream. I know how much his parents will cherish these photos forever.
When this mom contacted me she told me she had never had one picture of the four of them! While this may surprise some I can see how the days fly by and the toddlers are unruly and before you know it the kids are growing up and you’ve had no family portraits. I am so glad we could capture not just one picture like she asked for but many pictures of her sweet family of four!
I first met this family three years ago when doing newborn photos for their firstborn in their DC home. We did outdoor newborn photos for their second during COVID and I was so glad we could capture this fall family photo for them now that both boys are a year older.
This little boy was only a few weeks but already such a great little model. Most newborns are some combination of fussy or sleepy during their photos but he was wide awake showing off his beautiful big eyes which his parents (and visiting Grandma) just adored looking at. It is clear he is already so loved.
Could you imagine a happier one year old? And these were all before we watched her dig in to her first piece of cake ever! She was full of smiles despite the warm DC temperatures this August morning. I am so glad that her parents were able to capture this sweet stage.
