This little dude will forever have a special place in my heart. I did his newborn session on Capitol Hill just days before I gave birth to my own daughter—so basically, we were both going through it. I’ve loved seeing him morph into a happy and busy toddler. This time, we lucked out with a picture-perfect Washington, DC fall day—crunchy leaves, golden light, and one very photogenic goofball. 🍁📸.
This fam and I go way back—like, "tiny newborn in a swaddle" back. Their daughter (now a 5th grader?!) was one of the very first newborns I ever photographed, and yes, she was already serving cuteness and camera-ready vibes back then. Since then, I’ve had the joy of meeting her two little bros—each one bringing more adorable chaos than the last. The older siblings were so proud to show off their brand-new baby brother, and honestly, I think they might’ve been better photo assistants than me. Watching this family grow over the years has been such a treat, and getting to capture another sweet chapter in their Chevy Chase, MD home was the best.
These are very old friends of mine. In fact, I was there when they first met. They now have this beautiful family and wanted to get updated family photos as a birthday gift. I thought this was a great idea and I love that we could make a beautiful summer evening work-easier with bigger kids. Of course, having a big beautiful backyard to use helped too. If you can swing a summer evening session, I highly recommend it.
This newborn session in Chevy Chase, DC was so wonderful. This big brother eagerly welcomed me to his house with lots of stories and questions. I love a fun toddler to add some fun while new babies tend to sleep through much of our time together. They have a beautiful home that was the perfect spot to photograph these early newborn days.
This family got in touch once their baby girl had arrived and I’m so glad they did. Despite snow and schedules, we found a beautiful bright day to capture their new dynamic as a family of four in their beautiful Bethesda home. Big brother warmed up quickly and made for such a fun photo session.
I have been photographing this family for years, even before little sister arrived. These three kids are cute and sweet and even put up with A LOT of gnats buzzing around us. They were still giggles and laughs.
This is my second year photographing this family and I’m so glad I got to see them again. Both kids are fun and funny and were such good sports for our photos in beautiful Bishop’s Garden.
I love seeing this family year after year. This is my third year in a row photographing these cute girls always in front of their beautiful Washington DC home. Both girls seem so grown up now and are fun to photograph each year.
