Brothers in the Fall {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I loved seeing this family for a second year. This time they brought their new puppy. As someone who is experienced with toddlers, puppies require some of the same patience (but not the silly faces!). Like their human brothers, these dogs did great and it is such a nice treat to photograph big kids.

Fall Afternoon in the Park {Washington DC Family Photographer}

One of my favorite afternoons from this fall. This guy is even more fun this year-full of smiles and belly laughs. His parents were great sports considering it was a pretty cold day. We were still able to get some wonderful pictures of the three of these special people.

A Fall Afternoon with this Fun Family {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I first met this family a few years ago when doing this little guy’s newborn session. He was cute then and he is even cuter now. He is full of personality and energy and kept me on my toes. I loved this session because I was able to see him in action!

Good Morning Alexandria {Washington DC Family Photographer}

Not only did I get to catch up with one of my families (and meet the grandparents!) at this session but I also got to discover a new favorite location. I’ve been shooting this family since this is now energetic and running two year old was just a tiny little thing. She is so full of personality now-and she’s quick too! But I forgot how much I love the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria. And gorgeous weather to boot!

Three Years Old {Washington DC Family Photographer}

This was my third session with this little lady and wow has she changed. We barely got any smiles the first one and the second one her awesome moms actually brought along a friends dog to get some smiles. Well we didn’t need to rely on dogs this time-she is such.a fun big girl! We were all so happy with how easy this year’s photos were.

In Your Own Backyard {Washington DC Family Photographer}

Most of the time my family photo sessions take place in a local park. Many people in Washington DC do not have a backyard, at least not one big enough for a photo session. When this family came to me with the idea of doing the photos in their own yard I thought it was a great idea. Kids are usually more comfortable in their own yard and I was able to capture this family enjoying their own home!

This is One {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I met this guy when he was a newborn. We could not get him to wakeup for the entire newborn session despite great effort by all three of us. Well, now that he is one he is alert and fun! We lucked out with this beautiful morning and he was full of smiles as you can see! Happy first Birthday!

Family of Four {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I had not seen this family since this little girl’s newborn session. I loved seeing how much both kids had grown. A beautiful September morning in Bishop’s Garden.

Six Months Old {Washington DC Baby Photographer}

I met this little lady six months ago at her newborn session and was so happy when her parents contacted me to do some six month photos. She is bright eyes and lots of fun and I was able to capture her in all her glory. Thanks for an entertaining morning little lady.
