Six Months Old {Washington DC Baby Photographer}

I met this little lady six months ago at her newborn session and was so happy when her parents contacted me to do some six month photos. She is bright eyes and lots of fun and I was able to capture her in all her glory. Thanks for an entertaining morning little lady.

Bright Eyed Baby Boy {Washington DC Baby Photography}

Three month olds are sometimes hard to capture. They're squirmy or unpredictable and not quite newborn but not quite baby. But not this sweet baby B. He was alert and adorable and such a wonderful age to photograph. His big eyes and adorable big cheeks coupled with his loving parents made for a wonderful morning in Bishop's Garden.

This Boy is One {Washington DC Baby Photography}

I was so excited to see this family again. I met this little guy when he was only a week old, last year and he had the same beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair then. He is now more mobile and more awake but the same sweet babe. His mom made their clothes for this session which made these photos even more special. I loved seeing this family again and hope to continue to photograph baby L.

A New Little Man {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

This little boy was so well behaved. Considering how sweet his parents are, he met my expectations. He was very alert for being less than two weeks old and showed off his beautiful blue eyes. And I was even able to capture some sweet (and rare) newborn smiles while he laid on his daddy's chest. I loved meeting baby A and can't wait to watch him grow.

An old favorite: the K Family in Meridian Hill Park {Washington DC Family Photographer}

You might remember this family from their newborn session a mere six months ago. Well little E has grown quite a bit and now this little girl has her own personality. She was a bit tired during our morning at Meridian Hill Park so I captured a few more shots back at their home near U street. She is full of life and adventure and I even got to capture some of her first moments standing up in her crib on camera. She was clearly quite pleased with herself. Thanks little E and family for a fun morning together.

Seven Months of Sweetness {Washington DC Baby Photographer}

I had met baby M with his parents right after he was born and his mom asked me when the best time to photograph him would be. While the real answer is "anytime" I told her 7 months is a great age. Sure enough, I was right (phew!) and this guy was as smiley and sweet as ever. He never cried despite being woken up when I got there and the amazing light in their Logan Circle condo made for fantastic photos. Baby M was an all star and I can't wait to see what the next seven months bring!

A First Christmas {Washington DC Family Photographer}

This family invited me to photograph them when this sweet 4 month old had all of her grandparents (and biggest fans) in town to celebrate her first Christmas. It was so wonderful to see how little baby L can light up a room (and the faces of those in the room!) We also lucked out with the fact that Christmas Eve Day also brought 70 degree temperatures so we were able to get some great shots outdoors. Thanks N Family for this lovely morning.

7 Month Smiles! {Washington DC Family Photographer}

Let me tell you it sure was hard to pick a favorite from this session. His cheeky grin and gorgeous blue eyes make every picture better than the next! The great abundant light in this bedroom made a great setting. This was the same bedroom that this sweet babe was photographed in 7 months before. But this time he was quick to crawl and squirm around. Luckily his mom is quicker....for now.
