This is Two {Washington DC Family Photography}

This is one of those families that I have had the pleasure of watching them grow. I met Mom and Dad when we did their maternity session and then got to photograph this little lady at her newborn session and now again that she is a full blown toddler. We lucked out with this fall weather and even when it started to rain it didn't stop the M family from having fun. Eventhough it took her a few minutes to warm up I was able to capture her sweet personality. I look forward to continuing to watch her grow!

A Morning in Navy Yard {Washington DC Family Photography}

This was one of my favorite photo sessions this year. I love finding new locations around DC to shoot in. Because a lot of the federal lands require permits, its sometimes hard to find good spots. Well this is definitely one of them. These kids were full of energy, full of personality, and didn't seem to mind the cold! I hope I was able to capture their fun energy.

Afternoon on Capitol Hill {Washington DC Family Photography}

I met this sweet family last fall to capture their little guy's first photos. He was not quite as generous with his smiles last year but he also couldn't run away as fast. We lucked out with beautiful afternoon light and were able to capture this little guy in all of his fun toddler ways.

Two Moms To Be! {Washington DC Maternity Photography}

These ladies were referred to me from a previous client. They were both so excited for the new little bundle of joy. This particular day was quite cold but I appreciated their willingness to ditch their coats for a few minutes at a time to get some wonderful shots of the beautiful moms to be!

Fall Family Fun {Washington DC Family Photography}

This was one of my favorite sessions this fall. Two beautiful kids with laid back parents and beautiful fall weather to support all of this. What more could a photographer want? One of the best moments of this session is when toddler brother gave his sister a real and genuine hug, unprompted! Glad we were able to capture these little ones (and their parents) at such a fun age!

Pretty Little Lady {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

I loved meeting this little lady. For some reason, my business this past year was very boy heavy. I rarely see a newborn little girl so this was quite a treat. She wore a beautiful little gown that had belonged to her mom when she was a baby which made this extra special. I loved capturing this little lady and her sweet family.

New Baby Brother {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

This was my third session with this family. They originally hired me two years ago when their first child was born. They wanted to gift the new grandparents photo sessions with the baby. They did this again this time as their new son surprised them a few weeks early. He was just as great of a photo subject as his big sister and it was great to capture 3 generations of family together.

Family Love {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

I could already tell how much love this little guy already had. He had nursery decorations made by his cousins, a cute quote "I Love you More than Applesauce" which was something his mom always heard when she was a baby, and he had another grandma visiting. This not so tiny bundle of joy was soaking it all in.

All in the Family {Washington DC Family Photography}

I photographed half this crew lsat year when they contacted me to photograph their then baby. This year she wanted to incorporate her brother and sister in law as well as their sweet 3 year old. While one little guy wasn't feeling great that day we still powered through and got some great shots of both boys. This is such a great idea to capture the whole family.

A Warm Fall Day {Washington DC Family Photography}

This was one of my favorite families to photograph last fall. These boys are SO fun and full of antics and giggles. They both have awesome smiles and are up for anything. On this particular fall day it was extremely warm and not quite as crisp and fall like but I'm so glad we got to capture them again and see how they've grown.
