This big sister was so fun. She could not have been more proud to introduce me to her new little brother. I loved that her parents had this beautiful and bright white bedroom. It made for such a great setting for our photos. Thanks for a fun morning.
Most of the time my family photo sessions take place in a local park. Many people in Washington DC do not have a backyard, at least not one big enough for a photo session. When this family came to me with the idea of doing the photos in their own yard I thought it was a great idea. Kids are usually more comfortable in their own yard and I was able to capture this family enjoying their own home!
Not only was this a beautiful baby with wonderful parents but they had the most well lit nursery and bedroom that made photographing them so enjoyable. I was lucky enough to catch up both asleep and awake so we were able to get all of the special moments.
I met this guy when he was a newborn. We could not get him to wakeup for the entire newborn session despite great effort by all three of us. Well, now that he is one he is alert and fun! We lucked out with this beautiful morning and he was full of smiles as you can see! Happy first Birthday!

I met this little lady six months ago at her newborn session and was so happy when her parents contacted me to do some six month photos. She is bright eyes and lots of fun and I was able to capture her in all her glory. Thanks for an entertaining morning little lady.
This session felt a lot like deja-vu! I met this family two years ago when we did a newborn session for their new baby boy. I loved meeting this little guy’s new baby sister. It was quite reminiscent of our newborn session before but with a special touch of girl. Congratulations to one of my favorite DC families!
I photographed this family at their lovely Petworth home last year and it was a great success. They have an awesome yard and great front porch with both work great. Their daughters are (mostly) willing participants and it is amazing to see their different personalities shine.
I’ve been photographing this little guy since he was in utero. He was a very calm newborn-alert but never cried. He has continued to be a sweet and easy photo subject though he can now run away which makes thing slightly more difficult. He (and his parents) were great sports on this summer morning.
