Morning in Rock Creek Park {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I loved seeing this family again. Last time I photographed them, this big three year old was only a few months and now I got to meet his adorable little sister. Even though she is only a few months old, she was already a great little photo subject cooing and smiling at her dad. Her big brother continues to shine.

Late Newborn Session {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

Well beginning in March, to cancel all sessions. While everyone was understanding, I felt especially bad for all the newborn parents who missed out in getting photographs of those first days. I was happy we were able to do “newborn” photos for this family even when she was no longer a newborn. It was nice to catch her as a 3 month old when she could smile a bit and interact more. This was a great reintroduction into newborn sessions.

First Birthday Boy {Washington DC Family Photography}

This little guy was turning one and his mom wanted to capture some photos. While I normally only do newborn sessions indoors, this was so great in their beautiful well-lit living room in Arlington. This guy was all smiles and had his 4 grandparents ready to celebrate him as well. Happy 1st Birthday!

Bright Baby Girl {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

This newborn session was a breeze. They had a beautiful dreamy well-lit nursery and guest room where we did most of the photos and the baby barely made a peep! These parents were hesitant about doing a session so soon after they came home however at the end of the session they expressed how easy it was and how grateful they were to have photos of their first baby as a tiny newborn.

A Winter Maternity Session {Washington DC Maternity Session}

These two are real troopers. This was one of the coldest photo sessions I’ve ever done and they did not complain or even shiver once. We took breaks putting on coats and boots in between shots but we were still able to get such gorgeous shots.

New Baby Sister {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

I loved this family. They had a beautiful well-lit gorgeous house in Washington DC and two adorable children. Have you ever seen a smile as cute as this big brother’s? And baby sister slept throughout our entire session. These two moms were easy and flexible making this newborn session a pleasure.

This session was perfect. They had a beautifully lit nursery and this little boy was so content in his parents areas. I barely heard him cry and was able to capture his calm and sweet nature at only 2 weeks old.

A Bright Winter Morning in Virginia {Washington DC Family Photographer}

This session could not have gone better. An adorable baby and beautiful scenery in Alexandria made for a fun morning. Yes, it was freezing but they were tough and we got these great shots to make it all worth it.

Brothers in the Fall {Washington DC Family Photographer}

I loved seeing this family for a second year. This time they brought their new puppy. As someone who is experienced with toddlers, puppies require some of the same patience (but not the silly faces!). Like their human brothers, these dogs did great and it is such a nice treat to photograph big kids.

Three Times the Fun {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

Well this was a first for me-my first newborn triplet session! This family is amazing. Both parents stayed calm and two year old big brother was a dream. I had met him at his newborn session only two years ago. They have a beautiful new home that worked wonderfully to capture their growing family.
