Three Weeks New {Washington DC Newborn Photographer}

This new mom has the sweetest sisters. They contact me a few months ago saying they wanted to get their sister a gift and bought her a newborn photo session gift certificate from me. This is such a special gift since unlike most baby gifts, this will not eventually be given away and will always remind them of this special time. This new little boy and his fun parents were wonderful photo subjects in their beautiful Georgetown home. I'm so glad I got to meet them!

Warm Winter Day {Washington DC Family Photography}

Wow-we really lucked out! While usually January in Washington DC is very cold and no one would want to be outside more than you have to, this crazy weather we've had this year actually gave us a not too bad January afternoon. I loved capturing these dear friends and their spunky toddler. She quickly warmed up to the camera and was happy to play. Can't wait to meet their new little one soon!

New Year New Life {Washington DC Newborn Photographer

I loved meeting this little lady and her sweet parents who live in Northern Virginia. They were my very first session of the new year and I was so glad to start the new year of with such a sweet little babe. She slept through most of our session and when she woke, she quietly looked around and even gave us a little grin. Her mom had some beautiful hair accessories which helped make this such a wonderful session. Happy New Year!

Final Fall Family {Washington DC Family Photography}

This sweet family was the perfect sendoff to 2017. Their adorable toddler kept us all on our toes but was full of smiles and giggles. She showed me all of her tricks, we kicked a soccer ball, went on Dad's shoulders, and even played hide and seek. I was glad she was so comfortable in front of the camera and such a fun photo subject!

Sweet New Boy {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

I loved meeting this little guy. He's the very loved babe of my friends and he already was such a great photo subject at only two weeks old. He never cried once and just stared calmly around him. I hope he continues to be so calm and sweet.

One Year Old {Washington DC Baby Photography}

I loved meeting this family and one of DC's newest toddlers. He just turned one and was full of toddler curiosity and energy. He was very busy during out session running around and exploring and I am glad I was able to capture his curious personality. And of course who could not love those gorgeous blue eyes?

New Little Lady {Washington DC Newborn Photography}

I loved this sweet new family. They have a beautiful big newborn girl who they had waited so eagerly for. She has a beautiful well lit nursery and I could not wait to capture the three of them in their new roles. Baby C was such a nice break between the hectic craziness of fall family sessions.

Fun Family Down South {Washington DC Family Photography}

This is one of my oldest friends and her family. I love photographing them when I go down to visit family in Atlanta over Thanksgiving. She has two adorable and energetic kids who are more than happy to run around and giggle. I love watching them grow.

This is Two {Washington DC Family Photography}

This is one of those families that I have had the pleasure of watching them grow. I met Mom and Dad when we did their maternity session and then got to photograph this little lady at her newborn session and now again that she is a full blown toddler. We lucked out with this fall weather and even when it started to rain it didn't stop the M family from having fun. Eventhough it took her a few minutes to warm up I was able to capture her sweet personality. I look forward to continuing to watch her grow!

A Morning in Navy Yard {Washington DC Family Photography}

This was one of my favorite photo sessions this year. I love finding new locations around DC to shoot in. Because a lot of the federal lands require permits, its sometimes hard to find good spots. Well this is definitely one of them. These kids were full of energy, full of personality, and didn't seem to mind the cold! I hope I was able to capture their fun energy.
